Garden City, N.Y. - Senior Mike Mosby (Lake Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) and junior Gianna Smith (Hempstead, N.Y.) have been named Adelphi's Athletes of The Week for the week of February 26, 2007.

Mosby helped the Panthers secure the fourth seed in the ECC tournament and a quarterfinal home game with a 23 point, eight rebound effort in a 76-52 win over Molloy. On the week, Mosby averaged 18 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1 blocked shot.

For his efforts he was named ECC Co-Player of The Week.

Adelphi's returns to action on Wednesday, February 28 when they host Queens in ECC Quarterfinal action.

Smith helped the Panthers secure the third seed in the ECC Tournament by helping Adelphi collect a win over Molloy with a 26 points, seven rebound performance. For the week Smith averaged 23.5 points, 10 rebounds one steal and one block.

Adelphi returns to action on Wednesday, February 28 when they play host to Molloy at 5:30 pm.
