2nd Annual Black History Month Celebration A Success

The second annual Black History Month Celebration co-sponsored by the Athletic Department and Alumni Relations took place on Sunday, February 8, 2004. Over 125 alumni, students and administrators were on hand.

Congressman Gregory Meeks '75 and attorney Anthony Ricco '78 were speakers at the event. Guests were also treated to musical and dance performances. In addition, a Student Athlete Advisory Committe (SAAC) sponsored raffle raised $300 for the "Children of Africa" fund.
