Chad Prince

Chad Prince is in his fourth year as an assistant with the men's soccer team in 2015.
 
Prince brings well over a decade of combined playing and coaching experience at the NCAA Division I and professional levels. A 2001 graduate of the University of Virginia, Prince captained the Cavaliers as a senior and led the squad deep into the NCAA Tournament all four seasons, including a trip to the 1997 NCAA National Championship game. Prince landed on the ACC Championship Squad as a freshman and was named to the UCLA Invitation All-Tournament Team as a junior.
 
After his college career, Prince went on to play professionally in the A-League with the Milwaukee Rampage and in the Chicago Fire organization of Major League Soccer, and finished his pro endeavors with the Austin Posse, an A-League team in Austin, Texas.
 
Prince began his coaching career at the University of Texas-Austin in 2004 where he skippered the women’s soccer club team, and returned to the DI level as an assistant with Campbell University’s women’s soccer team in 2008. Prince then spent two seasons as the head coach for both the men’s and women’s squads at Keystone College, a DIII institution in Scranton, Pa., before most recently serving as the goalkeeper coach at St. Edward’s University.
 
A former youth national team and All-American high school player at Syosset and 1997 Jewish Sports Hall of Fame inductee, Prince holds a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas and is currently pursuing a second masters degree in sports management from Adelphi. Prince holds three national diplomas from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and earned a United States Soccer Federation B License. He currently resides in Lynrbook, N.Y.
